Passing the Torch

As some of you who follow my personal blog, Just Another American in Paris, already know, in just a few months, I will be leaving Paris to return home to Washington, DC.   And naturally that raises questions about what will happen to this site.  Fortunately, just the right person has come forward to take over editing (and a lot of writing) duties.

I am very happy to announce that Lindsey Passaic, known to Posted in Paris readers for her pieces on Skype and nail salons and to other Paris bloggers for her site, Greetings from the American Girl, will be stepping into the role.  While I still have at least one more post up my sleeve , from here on out, it’s Lindsey’s show and I feel confident that she will bring new energy to the task and new information to all of you.

Creating Posted in Paris was a labor of love, and I’m pleased with the resource that’s been built.  My thanks to all the bloggers who’ve allowed me to repost their work, to others who have written original material, and of course, to the readers who share their insights in comments and share the buzz with those new to Paris.

  1. Congrats to Lindsey! Anne, you’ve created an amazing site. Hope you’ll still chime in from time to time!

  2. Anne, I didn’t realize your departure date was so fast approaching – how are you feeling?!
And I only recently discovered Lindsey’s blog – so happy for both of you that she’ll carry the baton pour toi!
